Effective communication is a skill that anyone can learn. The key is to learn how to master your communication style and build conscious practices to deepen authentic connection and raise your level of well-being.

The better we understand what drives the way we communicate, how we impact others, and how stress affects the way we communicate, the faster we can build the skills that allow us to create healthy, successful, and satisfying lives.

This 6-month training and coaching program teaches you how to transform the way you communicate––one skill at a time.

In this course you will learn to:

  • Communicate calmly and effectively under stress.

  • Express your thoughts with clarity, confidence, and kindness.

  • Listen on a level that reduces misunderstandings and deepens connections.

  • Build trusted relationships and elevate your influence.

  • Successfully handle those difficult conversations you dread (or avoid).

For: Individuals, Teams, and Leaders

Live training sessions: 60 minutes on Zoom.

Online training: 1 year access to video lessons, downloads, and resources that deepen skill-building.

Reflection exercises: Downloads help you to surface personal insights and build your daily practice.

Personal Coaching: Two, 60 minute 1:1 coaching sessions to provide added personal support.

Monthly group coaching: Stay accountable, share insights, celebrate progress, and learn from on another.

Class Size: Limited to 8 participants.

Dates: Thursdays from 12 - 1PM (CT), beginning September 12.

Over the course of 6 months, you’ll experience 12 live and interactive training sessions designed to elevate the way you communicate and take care of yourself. The biweekly design keeps you inspired and accountable as you build new skills each month.

  • Each class has recommended reading and reflection exercises to help you deepen your understanding, surface personal insights, and build your daily practice.

    The assignments typically take 30-45 minutes to complete.

  • Our goal is to create a safe space where people feel comfortable sharing personal insights and experiences, so we do not record the live training and coaching sessions.

    However, every lesson is supported through our on demand video training program, so you can stay on track if you need to miss a live session.

  • Yes! Your employer can register you for the program. There are tips for doing so here.

    Or you can enroll yourself and submit your emailed receipt to your employer for reimbursement.

  • Before the program begins, you receive a 1-hour personal coaching session to help you identify your personal goals for the program.

    This course design also includes live group coaching every month, where you can ask questions and address any issues you’re comfortable sharing in a group setting.

    If you’d like additional personal coaching sessions, you can purchase them as needed or buy a package for consistent support.

I’ve spent my entire career working in the field of communication. And for the past 15 years, I’ve been educating, training, and coaching leaders and teams to consciously communicate, strengthen well-being, and deepen trust.

Communicate at Your Best Under Stress

Live Training

Learn to recognize the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that “tell” you when you’re communicating from your style under stress. Activate strategies to be more intentional about what you say and do when you’re under stress.

Instill a daily practice to help you identify stress reactions and patterns, so you can choose a new response. Develop strategies to elevate your stress response and instill simple, calming rituals to manage stress and break free from the cycles of stress once you’ve been triggered.

Group Coaching

Live Training

Learn to recognize the impact you have on others and take responsibility for the interpersonal tensions you create. Make it a habit to resolve issues while they are small before they grow and erode trust. Identify your limiting beliefs, triggers, and stories.

Commit to activating your self-reflection practice within 24 hours. Discuss how to instill practices that support higher levels of self-awareness and understanding, and allows you to recognize when you need to clear the air with someone.

Become aware of your listening habits and instill intentional practices that keep you tuned in. Learn techniques to expand your self-awareness, EQ, and empathy to elevate your listening skills, communicate more effectively, and cultivate trust.

Handling Difficult Conversations

Live Training

Learn how to prepare to effectively handle difficult conversations and resolve conflict in ways that have the potential to deepen your relationships and trust. Recognize the impact that avoiding difficult conversations has on your energy, stress, and team.

Commit to identifying a difficult conversation you’ve been putting off within 24 hours and identifying a timeframe for addressing it. Review the reflection materials and questions for intentionally preparing to step into the conversation and reach agreements that address the issue and repair the relationship.
